A lone pillar-shaped outcropping topped with several trees stands out among the peaks of Heavenly Pillar in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, in northwest Hunan Province. The mountains of Heavenly Pillar reportedly inspired the Hallelujah Mountains in the film “Avatar.”
